Gilbert博士是人口遗传学和基因组学方面的研究人员。他在英国诺丁汉大学获得生物化学和遗传学本科和硕士学位后，于2015年在RCSI获得了种群遗传学和基因组学博士学位。目前他在药学院和生物分子科学学院授课，同时也是RCSI未来神经SFI研究中心的成员。
研究方向：
