Biography
Wei Zhang is a lecturer in the International College for Pharmaceutical Innovation (ICPI), Soochow University (SUDA), China and the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences (PBS), Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), Ireland. Her research focuses on bio-nano interactions and functional design of nanomaterials for therapy. She has 7 peer-reviewed publications and several papers under rebuttal in journals such as Nature Materials and Nature Nanotechnology. She is an invited reviewer for the Journal of Analytical Biochemistry and a member of Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). She received several awards and grants, including Ireland outstanding postgraduate project award (2020), and Irish Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship (2022).
