Biography:
Bo Huang is a Professor at the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Soochow University. He received his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from Zhejiang University in 2018, and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of South Florida and the University of Hong Kong. He joined the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Soochow University in 2025. He primarily engages in medicinal chemical biology research, with a long-term focus on the cutting-edge interdisciplinary field of "rational design and targeted functional translation of conformationally constrained peptidomimetic foldamers." In recent years, addressing scientific challenges such as traditional "undruggable" targets and the poor druggability of natural peptides, he has achieved multiple original results in the regulation of transcription complexes, non-traditional ubiquitination regulation, and the capture and clearance of exogenous toxins. As the first or corresponding author, he has published multiple high-quality papers in authoritative international academic journals such as Nature Communications, Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B, and Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, and has been granted 1 PCT international invention patent. He currently serves as a member of the Youth Committee of the Suzhou Society for Biology and as a reviewer for journals including Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B. He has been awarded the National Scholarship for Doctoral Students and received nominations for the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Zhejiang Province and Zhejiang University.
