★ Urban transport
Bus: It is the cheapest way of public transportation. it runs frequently from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Buses near the school will take you to all parts of Suzhou. You can pay with cash, app or Suzhou citizen card.
Taxi: You can easily get a car around the campus by Didi, Baidu Map and other apps.
Bike: It is the most convenient way to explore the city, especially in the downtown area. Suzhou offers bicycle rental services, generally 3 yuan an hour. You just need to use Wechat or Alipay to scan the code and rent the bike.
Subway: A popular way to get around. Currently there are five lines, and another three more will be completed this year.
★ Intercity traffic
The transportation network of Suzhou is well connected. From here, you can easily travel to other parts of China by high-speed railway, long-distance bus, or take flights to and from Shanghai or Wuxi airport.
High-speed railway: There are three main railway stations, namely Suzhou Station, Suzhou Industrial Park Station and Suzhou North Railway Station.
Plane: There are three airports nearby, which are Wuxi Airport (1 hour drive), Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (1 hour drive), Shanghai Pudong International Airport (2 hours drive).
